Robert Tripolino, Student am Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australien, komponierte und interpretierte 2009 für eine Präsentation ein Lied zum Thema Stephen Sondheim: “Song time with Stephen Sondheim”.

Zwei Jahre später, 2011, brachten Robert Tipolino (Musik) sowie Hugo Chiarella (Texte und Buch) am Victorian College of the Arts ihr erstes Musical “Dreamsong” zu Aufführung.

The show takes a satirical look at a US-style evangelical mega-church in financial trouble after the GFC, which stages a second coming of Christ. Jesus turns out to be something of a rock star!
