Sollte das “Spider-Man”-Musical von U2 tatsächlich jemals seine Broadway-Premiere feiern, sollten sich also neue, potente Geldgeber finden, und die Chancen scheinen derzeit nicht so schlecht zu stehen, dann, nun dann gibt es jedenfalls schon mal Reeve Carney, der darauf wartet, als Musical-”Spider-Man” am Great White Way durchzustarten. Was er stimmmäßig so draufhat, konnte man unlängst beim Musikfestival “Hear No Ho” in North Hollywood erleben - oder 2007 in Austin/Texas, wo er Queens “Bohemian Rhapsody” sang.

Offstage, Reeve Carney — frontman for the Los Angeles rock band that bears his last name — is a sincere, courteous, and disarmingly modest young man who will charm your socks off with funny stories about how he discovered «Bohemian Rhapsody” at age 9 while watching Wayne’s World. But put him onstage in front of a live audience, and this polite, well-mannered young man is transformed into a strutting rock-star peacock, wowing the crowd with his intensity, passion, and sheer talent.
