Acht Jahre nach dem Tod Steve Bartons in Bremen veröffentlicht das englische Label “Stage Door Records” eine neue CD des Musicaldarstellers.
“Only for a while” wird ab 3. August 2009 über die Website des Labels erhältlich sein und am 7. September in die Plattenläden ausgeliefert.
Zu hören sind 14 bis dato unveröffentlichte Aufnahmen, darunter Songs von Cole Porter wie “It’s Delovely” und “Begin The Beguine”, Jacque Brels “If You Go Away”, “The Port of Amsterdam” und “Jackie” wie auch Aufnahmen von Songs der Musicals “Emma” und “Someone Like You”.
Als Bonus-Track: “Hopefully”, ein Lied, geschrieben und interpretiert von Steve Bartons Sohn Edward Barton.
