Under this rather pompous title I’m putting the results of a detailed Alfred reviewing I’ve been doing with my friend who is also a great Alfred enthusiast. We have compared our favourite Alfred actors in a great deal of categories related to various parts of appearance, voice, acting etc. Actually at the moment only the Looks part is complete, but we did find a great many categories already there. So we decided who is, in our opinion, the best in each category, sometimes also who is the second best when more than one seemed to be particularly distinguished in that area. I’m going to post the results here as separate posts illustrated by photos or videos whenever possible.
I apologise for the very limited number of actors involved, should it annoy anyone. We don’t have that many Alfred actors we truly approve of and love, and of course only wanted to limit ourselves to those who we appreciate as Alfred. And even among them some people are harder to find pictures of (especially as Alfred) than others, which limited our ability to make comparisons. So with a few exceptions, we’re mostly limited to the Hungarian Alfreds (not that it’s new in this blog… I swear I do my best to be versatile). I’d like to note that we didn’t always focus on specifically Alfred-like qualities especially in the looks category, and Alfred pictures are not always the best way to illustrate the matter but I may use personal pictures as well. As all of the pictures should be extremely pretty, I trust this will not be a problem to my readers.
The entries on this subject will be posted whenever I feel like it, and links to individual entries will be added into this post.
