Für die West End-Produktion des Musicals “The Lord of the Rings” fällt am 19. Juli 2008 nach 492 Vorstellungen der letzte Vorhang. Die Previews starteten am 9. Mai 2007, am 19. Juni 2007 stieg die Premiere im Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Was nun? In Planung sind eine Deutschland-Produktion der Show (angepeiltes Premierendatum: November 2009) und eine Tourproduktion, die 2009 in Neuseeland an den Start gehen soll. [Playbill]
