Bereits am 15. Dezember 2007 findet die letzte Vorstellung des Musicals “Desperately Seeking Susan” statt - einer Show, die auf dem gleichnamigen Film aus dem Jahre 1985 basiert und mit Songs der Band Blondie unterfüttert ist.

Gerade mal einen Monat konnte sich die Show am Spielplan des Novello Theatre behaupten, ein paar dankende Wort immerhin fanden die Produzenten der Show, Susan Q. Gallin, Ron Kastner, Mark Rubinstein, Joseph Smith von Old Vic Productions sowie Peter Kane, Nordby/Rawley Productions, Mary Lu Roffe in Zusammenarbeit mit MGM On Stage:

The producers wish to thank the talented cast, creative team and company for all their hard work and dedication to this production. Despite fantastic performances and enthusiastic audiences, the ticket sales have not been sufficient and the producers have had to make the difficult decision to close the show.
