Als einer der Jonas Brothers ist Nick Jonas zumindest bei den Teenies dieses Universums ein Weltstar, nun zieht er im Londonder West End ein.

Als 10-Jähriger war Nick Jonas vor ein paar Jahren in der Broadway-Produktion von “Les Misà©rables” in der Rolle des Gavroche zu sehen. Als Marius wird Nick Jonas am 21. Juni 2010 im Queens Theatre antreten. Die derzeit laufende Tour der Jonas Brothers wurde für diesen Coup, der ganz neue, junge Publikumsschichten ins Theater bringen wird, ab- beziehungsweise unterbrochen.

Produzent Cameron Mackintosh über Nick Jonas:

I went up to him at the closing night party in New York and told him he was terrific and hoped that one day he would return to play Marius. We’ve been in touch a lot and, of course, since then he has become this world-famous star. He and his father and I agreed that it would be great if he came and played Marius here in London. He has bent over backwards to fit it all into his schedule.
