Gute Dinge soll man im Auge behalten, wie zum Beispiel Frank Wildhorns Musical “Wonderland”. 2010 feierte die Show ihre Premiere im Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida, und übersiedelte dann nach Houston. Am 5. Januar 2011 geht eine überarbeitete Version des Musicals an den Start, und zwar erneut im Straz Jr. Center, diesmal sind die bis 16. Januar 2011 angesetzten Vorstellungen Previews für eine geplante Broadway-Produktion.

Ein paar Details zu den durchgeführten Änderungen:

Coming out of Tampa and Houston, it became very clear that the story had to be totally about Alice. There were too many stories before. Once they got that fixed, it brought a lot of clarity. Basically, they got rid of the clutter. [Judy Lisi, Präsidentin des Straz Center]

The first time the material was handed to me and Jack it had about 15 different stories. Now it’s Alice’s story and she’s like an arrow all the way through. We like to say our story is inspired by and completely unfaithful to Lewis Carroll. His story is about a Victorian child and the power of her imaginary world. Der weitere Zeitplan: Am 21. März 2011 beginnen die Previews am Broadway im 1611 Zuschauer fassenden Marquis Theatre, am 17. April soll die Broadway-Premiere steigen.
