Am 29. April 2011 gaben Audra McDonald und Liev Schreiber die Nominierungen für die diesjährigen “Drama Desk Awards” bekannt. Welche Stücke konnten nominiert werden: Produktionen, die am Broadway, Off-Broadway und Off-Off-Broadway in der vergangenen Saison Premiere feierten. Erfreulich ist, dass die sehr spannende Off-Broadway-Produktion “See Rock City & Other Destinations” von Brad Alexander (Musik) und Adam Mathias (Buch und Texte) (siehe auch –> hier) in gleich 6 Kategorien nominiert wurde. Klar in Führung bei den Nominierungen: “The Book of Mormon” (12) und das Revival von “Anything Goes” (10). Am 23. Mai 2011 werden die Gewinner bekannt gegeben.
